I've been researching the competing store platforms, and I haven't found many options that have the functionality we are looking for as far as layout/design.   We are using a custom domain for a school so that all products can be purchased at the same time, but we also want the ability to have different pop-up sales in the same store, for example a 2-week long special sale for a football team, while at the same time a 4 week long special sale for the marching band. Both sales starting and ending at different times with their own category pages on the website that list the start and end times as well as pickup or delivery information/options.
